Morgan Stanley analyst Dan Chee downgraded GreenTree Hospitality Group (NYSE: GHG) from to Underweight with a price target of $4.00.
The analyst comments "The stock is currently trading at 14x P/E on 2024 estimates – only a 30% discount to global hotel groups like Marriott, Hilton and IHG. We do not think this is warranted. Our unchanged price target of US$4 represents a 70% discount to industry leader HTHT. We think this is fair considering its history of connected transactions, as well as lower liquidity and trading volumes."
