Sohu.com, Inc. (SOHU) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c; initiates Q3 outlook

Sohu.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOHU) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.52), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.58). Revenue for the quarter came in at $152 million, versus $0 reported last year.

GUIDANCE:

For the third quarter 2023 guidance, Brand advertising revenues to be between US$21 million and US$24 million; this implies an annual decrease of 7% to 18%, and a sequential decrease of nil to 12%.

Online game revenues to be between US$108 million and US$118 million; this implies an annual decrease of 21% to 27%, and a sequential decrease of nil to 9%.

Non-GAAP net loss attributable to Sohu.com Limited to be between US$20 million and US$30 million; and GAAP net loss attributable to Sohu.com Limited to be between US$23 million and US$33 million.
