U.S. Bancorp (USB) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c; offers outlook

U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) reported Q2 EPS of $1.12, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.17 billion.

FQ3 revenue is seen in the range of $6.9-7.1 billion, below the consensus of $7.22 billion. Full-year revenue is seen in the range of $28-29 billion, which compares to the consensus of $28.71 billion.
