Goldman Sachs analyst Jordan Alliger reiterated a Buy rating and $194.00 price target on UPS (NYSE: UPS) following a non-deal road show for investors with senior management of UPS at their
headquarters in Atlanta.

The analyst commented, "While the near term remains challenging across the transport sector, we remain encouraged by the longer term UPS opportunity set to drive increased productivity through automation and technology, as well as the ability to generate additional favorable mix via targeting healthcare verticals and ongoing SMB penetration. In the near term, the company continues to feel confident it can create a win-win outcome around Teamster negotiations (contract expires end-of-July; meaningful progress has been made across a wide range of supplemental agreements), and that diverted freight should come back post a deal and as we move through year-end - although in our view, risk of course does remain around timing and pace."
