Genesco (GCO) Tops Q2 EPS by 30c; Lowers FY Outlook

Genesco (NYSE: GCO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.59, $0.30 better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $535 million versus the consensus estimate of $549.76 million.

GUIDANCE:

Genesco sees FY2023 EPS of $6.25-$7.00, versus prior of $7.00-$7.75 and the consensus of $7.35. Sales are now expected to be down 3% to flat, compared to FY22, versus prior guidance of up 1% to 3%.
