Morgan Stanley analyst Brian Harbour reiterated an Overweight rating and $25.00 price target on Xponential Fitness Inc (NYSE: XPOF) after hosting Founder and CEO Anthony Geisler, CFO John Meloun, and President Sarah Luna for a series of investor meetings last week that confirmed high visibility on 500+ openings this year.
The analyst stated "Recent member participation trends remain strong with cracks not showing, as highlighted by reiterated guidance last month and acceleration in KPIs into May, including memberships, visitation, and spend. The company's real time tracking of memberships reinforces this. Even beyond fitness, higher end spending on services is mostly holding up, as experiential/community-driven spending remains robust, in the face of weakening data on sentiment. And despite that a small cohort of customers haven't yet come back to in person fitness post Covid, boutique supply rationalization and more interest in health among active customers are membership tailwinds and expand the TAM, in XPOF's view. In a recession bear case, there are few concrete analogs to compare."
