Party City (NYSE: PRTY) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.22), $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $433 million versus the consensus estimate of $436 million.
GUIDANCE:
Party City sees FY2022 revenue of $2.23-2.3 billion, versus the consensus of $2.3 billion.
- Net sales of $2.225 billion to $2.300 billion or an increase of approximately 2.5% to 6.0% versus 2021;
- Brand comp sales change of approximately -1% to 2%;
- GAAP net income of approximately $30 million to $48 million, assuming a full-year tax rate of 38%;
- Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $235 million to $265 million;
- Capital Expenditures of approximately $110 to $120 million*.
