American Express (AXP) Tops Q1 EPS by 25c, Maintains FY EPS Guidance

American Express (NYSE: AXP) reported Q1 EPS of $2.73, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $2.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.64 billion.

GUIDANCE:

American Express sees FY2022 EPS of $9.25-$9.65, versus the consensus of $9.71.
