Oppenheimer analyst Owen Lau reiterated an Outperform rating and $142.00 price target on CBOE Holdings (NYSE: CBOE) after meeting with management via the Oppenheimer bus tour and learning that inflation is likely to be a positive for financial results.
The analyst stated "COO Isaacson views the rising rates as neutral to slightly positive to core exchange businesses as more trading opportunities present themselves. Despite geopolitical tensions markets are trading orderly with healthy amounts of volume, according to Isaacson. EVP Clay mentioned they see heightened demand caused by spikes in volatility resulting in bid-ask spreads widening and demand for their tools increasing."
