H.C. Wainwright analyst Ed Arce lowered the price target on Arcturus Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ARCT) to $33.00 (from $47.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, ". On January 24, Arcturus reported data from an ongoing Phase 1/2 booster trial that showed both ARCT-154 and ARCT-165 as 5 mcg boosters after initial vaccinations with Pfizer's (PFE; not rated) COVID-19 vaccine Comirnaty successfully elicited geometric mean antibody responses against SARS-CoV-2, as measured by a validated pseudovirus microneutralization (MNT, D614G) assay. These neutralizing antibody concentration increases were observed both at Day 15 and Day 29 post-administration (Exhibit 1), and also observed against several SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern including Beta and Delta, as measured by a surrogate virus neutralization (sVNT) assay (Exhibit 2). Subsequently on January 25, Arcturus reported similar antibody responses to the Omicron variant by both ARCT-154 and ARCT-165 (Exhibit 3). These latest datasets were from the ARCT-154 and ARCT-165 arms of the booster cohort of an ongoing Phase 1/2 study conducted in the U.S. and Singapore, and included 24 participants aged 65 years or below, divided into two groups of 12 to receive ARCT-154 5 mcg or ARCT-165 5 mcg following primary vaccination with Comirnaty administered at least five months prior to receiving the booster dose."
