Stifel analyst Patrick Ho reiterated a Buy rating and $256.00 price target on MKS Instruments (NASDAQ: MKSI) ahead of 4Q21 (Dec) earnings results on Wednesday after the market close, with a conference call Thursday morning (8:30am ET).
The analyst reiterated a Buy rating, stating "We expect the company to generally meet our estimates of $760.3 million in revenue and pro forma EPS of $2.85, including options (which does not include the impending Atotech acquisition). We believe its semi business likely experienced another strong quarter, while we expect modest growth in its advanced markets business led by its Light and Motion segment. We expect management will be constructively positive on its semi business outlook, while we will be seeking an update on its supply chain situation, which could be an overhang for the group. In total, we believe the stock is attractively valued, even before the close of its Atotech deal (which we maintain investors do not fully appreciate and understand its accretion potential)."
