Stifel Said Adagio (ADGI) Story 'Just Potentially Become Even More Complicated'

Stifel analyst Stephen Willey asks if the Adagio (NASDAQ: ADGI) story just potentialy became even more complicated.

To wit: "The publication (within the last 12+ hours) of two preprint manuscripts evaluating the neutralization potencies of various COVID mAb therapeutics has generated significant volatility in ADGI shares – with top-line preclinical data generated in two independent (and well-regarded) laboratories (Columbia University and the Pasteur Institute) seemingly suggesting the hit on neutralization potency ADG20 is taking against the Omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant may be less than the >300x reduction in neutralization potency previously advertised by ADGI management (see here). We note these are non-peer reviewed publications and we think it’s incomprehensible to believe ADGI management would have issued a press release earlier this week that destroyed billions of dollars in value without having more definitive data in hand – so we’d like to think what these manuscripts are suggesting is indeed not the case. We’ve reached out to ADGI management – who suggested they are actively reviewing the data."
