Vertex Pharma (VRTX) Tops Q3 EPS by 48c, Lifts FY Guidance

Vertex Pharma (NASDAQ: VRTX) reported Q3 EPS of $3.56, $0.48 better than the analyst estimate of $3.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.98 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.86 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Vertex Pharma sees FY2021 revenue of $7.4-7.5 billion, versus the consensus of $7.32 billion.
