Susquehanna analyst Shyam Patil reiterated a Positive rating and $105.00 price target on The Trade Desk (NASDAQ: TTD) noting 5 Key beliefs:
- Advertising shift to CTV still early, and TTD is best positioned DSP in CTV
- Shift to CTV in Europe can be compared to where the US was a few years ago, in 1H, CTV grew over 10x y/y
- Solimar adoption is quicker and easier than expected after launching in July
- UID 2.0, an initiative started by TTD as a privacy-safe identity alternative to cookies, continues to rapidly gain adoption in the US and is being tested in Europe and Asia
- Shopper marketing is still in the very early stages allows clients to put their data to work. TTD and Walmart are creating the first case study and the dollars coming into TTD will be incremental.
The analyst stated "We continue to view TTD as a must-own multi-year growth story with several key growth drivers in play, notably CTV (particularly in the US and EMEA), shopper marketing, international, and Solimar."
