VIA optronics AG (VIAO) Reports Q2 Loss of EUR0.91/sh

VIA optronics AG (NYSE: VIAO) reported Q2 EPS of (EUR0.91), versus (EUR0.01) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at EUR43.7 million, versus EUR39.2 million reported last year.

Outlook

For the third quarter of 2021, VIA expects to achieve total revenue of €45 million to €50 million. For full year 2021, the Company expects revenue growth of about 20% compared to 2020. VIA expects the financial results for the full year 2021 will significantly depend on the development of global component shortages and the resulting effect on the Company’s supply chain rather than reduced demand in the market for VIA’s products.
