Verizon Communications (VZ) Raises Quarterly Dividend 2% to $0.64; 4.7% Yield

Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.64 per share, or $2.56 annualized. This is a 2% increase from the prior dividend of $0.6275.
The dividend will be payable on November 1, 2021, to stockholders of record on October 8, 2021, with an ex-dividend date of October 7, 2021.
The annual yield on the dividend is 4.7 percent.
This is the 15th consecutive year Verizon’s Board has approved a quarterly dividend increase.
Chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg said, “We continue to deliver value to our shareholders as we execute our multi-purpose network strategy and grow the top and bottom lines.”
