Needham & Company analyst Scott Berg reiterated a Buy rating and $85.00 price target on BigCommerce Holdings (NASDAQ: BIGC) after hosting an investor product demonstration on BigCommerce's recent Feedonomincs acquisition with co-founders Brian and Robert Rozien & CEO Shawn Lipman. Key points from the presentation include:

  • Feedonomics solves the problem of the massive number of touch points companies manage when lookinging to connect customers to their products.
  • All companies selling online need some sort of product listing solution and as the number of channels increases, current solutions lack the ability to do distribute this content quickly and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Feedonomics allows a customer to consolidate product, contextual, or insight data from any source across the organization into a single place.
  • The sales opportunity for BigCommerce lies in its ability to cross-sell Feedonomics into existing BIGC customers. As companies continue to increase their ecommerce presence and expand the number of SKUs and channels where they are listed, demand for Feed Optimization technology will continue to increase.

The analyst stated "Our net take-away is that omnichannel complexities will only increase and adoption of these platforms will only rise, which will drive more durable, faster revenue growth for BIGC."
