BofA Securities analyst Justin Post reiterated a Neutral rating and $100.00 price target on Peloton Interactive (NASDAQ: PTON) after surveying 80 investors in a virtual bull/bear debate. Takeaways include:
1) 39% believe 25-50mn is the industry in-home fitness subscriber TAM
2) 36% believe Peloton can reach 10-20mn connected fitness subscribers in 10 years
3) 36% think Peloton will add 1.1-1.3mn connected fitness subscribers in FY22 (Street is at 1.25mn)
4) 32% think Peloton will add 200-300k total combined Peloton Tread and Tread+ subscribers in FY22
5) 50% think that recent recalls will not have an impact on Tread or Tread+ sales (vs 21% that said recalls will have an impact)
6) 29% believe the fair value for PTON is $75 or below, 14% were in line at $75-100, and 57% were above $100 (with 7% above $175)
