Morgan Stanley analyst Simeon Gutman reiterated an Overweight rating and $154.00 price target on Walmart (NYSE: WMT), saying the latest AlphaWise survey points to an uptick in membership.
The analyst commented, "Latest AlphaWise survey points to an uptick in membership: 9% of US households subscribe (or ~12m members). TAM appears steady at ~20m. Takeaways from media report on WMT's Grocery share losses: 1) likely pandemic-driven; 2) could explain why WMT partnered with Instacart last year."
