Activision Blizzard (ATVI) Misses Q4 EPS by 42c

Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.76, $0.42 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.41 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.83 billion.

“In a year filled with adversity our extraordinary employees were determined to provide connection and joy to our 400 million players around the world,” said Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard. “They accomplished this as well as generating record financial results for our shareholders. Under difficult circumstances, but with the same conviction and focus, they will continue to do so in 2021.”

GUIDANCE:

Activision Blizzard sees Q1 2021 EPS of $0.84, versus the consensus of $0.65. Activision Blizzard sees Q1 2021 revenue of $2.015 billion, versus the consensus of $1.68 billion.

Activision Blizzard sees FY2021 EPS of $3.34, versus the consensus of $3.51. Activision Blizzard sees FY2021 revenue of $8.225 billion, versus the consensus of $8.3 billion.
