El Pollo Loco (LOCO) Estimates Raised Post ICR Conference- CL King

CL King analyst Todd Brooks reiterated a Neutral rating on El Pollo Loco (NASDAQ: LOCO) after updating 4Q20 and FY21 estimates for El Pollo Loco Holdings (LOCO) to reflect the Q4 business update that the company provided during the 2021 ICR Conference.

The analyst stated "LOCO provided the business update prior to its presentation at the conference. The concept’s high unit exposure to the Los Angeles County market (~60% of units) led to a Q4 sales shortfall relative to expectations, and the extreme spike in COVID-19 cases in that market has generated an incremental $1.7MM of pandemic-related expenses during the quarter, which will further pressure Q4 earnings results".
