Raymond James analyst Reni Benjamin downgraded Voyager Therapeutics (NASDAQ: VYGR) from Strong Buy to Outperform with a price target of $17.00 (from $28.00).
The analyst comments "We our reducing our price target to $17 (versus $28 previously) and an Outperform rating, as consistent delays with both the VY-AADC Parkinson’s program (PD) and Huntington’s (HD) program extends the commercial horizon line. We continue to fundamentally believe that the VY-AADC PD program is better than the indwelling hardware solution now mainly used for advanced PD patients (deep brain stimulation), and the translational data for the HD program has been promising. That said, clearly execution has not been what we had hoped, and timelines for progress continue to face hurdles."
