Stifel analyst Scott Devitt initiates coverage on CuriosityStream Inc. (NASDAQ: CURI) with a Buy rating and a price target of $12.00.

The analyst comments "We see upside opportunity for CuriosityStream shares, with the following key investment points: the management team is a veteran set of operators, the focus on premium factual entertainment differentiates the service, the economical business model should lead to favorable long-term margins, the company has multiple global content monetization opportunities, and as a streaming-friendly company, the secular positioning is favorable. While acknowledging the risks of investing in an early stage of the company, we are favorable on the opportunity and believe current equity value of under $400 million leaves ample upside potential with solid execution on global ambitions."
