Susquehanna analyst Sam Poser raised the price target on VF Corp. (NYSE: VFC) to $81.00 (from $69.00) while maintaining a Positive rating, saying visibility is improving and Timberland is on the mend.
Poser commented, " Post our virtual NDR with management, visibility is becoming clearer that VFC should emerge from the crisis in a stronger position than it was in when the crisis began due to the following: 1) operational discipline; 2) a strong stable of brands; and 3) a robust digital infrastructure. Timberland appears to be recovering at a faster rate than management anticipated post 1Q21 earnings in early August, and the colder than normal September is likely a short-term shot in the arm for all VFC's businesses. M&A remains a top priority, and a fortress balance sheet provides plenty of dry powder."
