Versant Corporation (Nasdaq: VSNT) 7% HIGHER; reported Q1 revenues of $5.2 million from its continuing operations, compared to $4.6 million for the comparable period last year, representing an increase of approximately 11%. Net income for the quarter was $1.7 million and diluted net income per share was $0.47, compared to net income of $0.8 million and diluted net income per share of $0.22 for the comparable period last year.
Deckers Outdoor (Nasdaq: DECK) 5% HIGHER; reports preliminary Q4 EPS of $1.82 vs. consensus of $1.31. Revenues were $124.4 million vs. $110.68 million consensus. First Quarter Outlook: The Company currently expects first quarter 2007 revenue to increase approximately 15% and diluted earnings per share to increase approximately 15% over 2006. Full-Year 2007 Outlook: The Company reiterated its full year revenue growth target of approximately 15%. The Company also introduced its full year diluted earnings per share target of approximately 5% growth over 2006 before the impairment charge.
Autodesk (Nasdaq: ADSK) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 revenues of $497 million vs. $497.03 million consensus. Company delays EPS report due to stock option review. (Company not providing EPS guidance at this time). Sees Q1 revenues between $490-500 million vs. consensus of $500.6 million consensus.
Nuvelo Inc. (Nasdaq: NUVO) 3.5% LOWER; For the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006, Nuvelo reported a net loss of $65.3 million, or $1.23 per share, compared to a net loss of $21.5 million, or $0.50 per share, for the same period in 2005. The 2006 loss included two non-cash charges.
