ANSYS (ANSS) Tops Q2 EPS by 39c, Offers FY & Q3 Guidance

ANSYS (NASDAQ: ANSS) reported Q2 EPS of $1.55, $0.39 better than the analyst estimate of $1.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $389.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $354.4 million.

GUIDANCE:

ANSYS sees Q3 2020 EPS of $1.10-$1.34, versus the consensus of $1.41. ANSYS sees Q3 2020 revenue of $347-377 million, versus the consensus of $376.6 million.

ANSYS sees FY2020 EPS of $5.75-$6.35, versus the consensus of $5.93. ANSYS sees FY2020 revenue of $1.57-1.65 billion, versus the consensus of $1.59 billion.
