AeroVironment (AVAV) Tops Q4 EPS by 5c, Offers FY21 Guidance

AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) reported Q4 EPS of $0.75, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.70. Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $123.62 million.

GUIDANCE:

AeroVironment sees FY2021 EPS of $1.74-$1.94, versus the consensus of $1.89. AeroVironment sees FY2021 revenue of $390-410 million, versus the consensus of $398 million.

• For fiscal 2021, the Company expects to generate revenue between $390 million and $410 million, operating margin of between 12% and 12.5%, and earnings per diluted share of $1.65 to $1.85. This financial guidance assumes approximately 7% ownership of the HAPSMobile joint venture. The Company expects non-GAAP earnings per diluted share, which excludes amortization of acquired intangible assets, to be between $1.74 and $1.94.
