Splunk (SPLK) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c, Q2 Revenue Guidance Misses

Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.56), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.57). Revenue for the quarter came in at $434 million versus the consensus estimate of $442.85 million.

GUIDANCE:

Splunk sees Q2 2021 revenue of $520 million, versus the consensus of $550.6 million.

• Non-GAAP operating margin is expected to be between negative 10% and negative 15%.
