Abbott (ABT) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c, Revenue Beats, Suspends Guidance

Abbott (NYSE: ABT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.65, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.58. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.34 billion.

Due to uncertainties regarding the duration and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Abbott is suspending its previously announced annual guidance for 2020.
