MDU Resources Group (MDU) Tops Q4 EPS by 8c, Offers Guidance

MDU Resources Group (NYSE: MDU) reported Q4 EPS of $0.47, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.38 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.19 billion.

GUIDANCE:

MDU Resources Group sees FY2020 EPS of $1.65-$1.85, versus the consensus of $1.66.

• Normal operating conditions, economic conditions and weather conditions, including precipitation and temperatures, across all company market areas.
• No significant acquisitions or divestitures.
• Investing $650 million for capital projects.
• Construction services revenues in the range of $1.85 billion to $2.05 billion and construction materials revenues in the range of $2.2 billion to $2.4 billion, with margins comparable to or slightly higher than 2019
