SunTrust analyst David MacDonald reiterated a Hold rating and $370.00 price target on Humana (NYSE: HUM) following the company's announced entry into a definitive agreement to acquire Enclara Healthcare. The deal is expected to close in 1H 2020.
MacDonald views the deal as a nice strategic pickup which allows Humana to further complement its meaningful hospice presence with enhanced capabilities in the areas of hospice related pharmacy needs, simplification of the mail order pharmacy experience, and the enhancement of its technological capabilities for in-home pharmacy.
