Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas reiterated an Equalweight rating and $250.00 price target on Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) ahead of the company unveiling its “Cyberpunk” pickup at the SpaceX facility on November 21st.

The analyst stated "Tesla sells 3 models (not including the Model Y, with production expected to begin in summer 2020) … and they’re either rather old (S), overly engineered (X) or address a shrinking/narrow sedan segment (3). We see the November 21st pickup truck unveil as the beginning of a process that may see Tesla potentially more than triple its model line-up … multiplying segment coverage by 5x by 2025. We rarely get asked about what comes after the Model Y … and almost never get asked about the pickup truck, which may arguably (along with delivery vans) turn out to be the hottest, fastest growing EV in the US market over the next 3 to 5 years".
