McDonald's (MCD) Raises Quarterly Dividend 7.8% to $1.25; 2.4% Yield

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) declared a quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share, or $5 annualized. This is a 7.8% increase from the prior dividend of $1.16. The dividend will be payable on December 16, 2019, to stockholders of record on December 2, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of November 29, 2019. The annual yield on the dividend is 2.4 percent.

McDonald's President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Easterbrook said, "Our broad based business strength across the globe is a testament to the Velocity Growth Plan. Today's dividend increase reflects our confidence in the plan and our continued focus on driving long-term value for all stakeholders."

McDonald's has raised its dividend for 43 consecutive years since paying its first dividend in 1976.
