Raymond James analyst John Ransom reiterated an Outperform rating and $70.00 price target on DaVita (NYSE: DVA) after more shares were purchased in the Dutch auction than originally anticipated. EPS and FCF/share both rise by ~3% in 2020 and 4% in 2021 as a result with no change to EBITDA.
The analyst stated "Net-net, the Dutch auction results are mixed (better EPS but less constructive on share supply/demand). Our underlying thesis on the name is unchanged as well and we continue to look towards the September 10th capital markets day to address questions on the company's efforts towards home-based dialysis (PD and home hemo) and future capital deployment".
