Deutsche Bank Raises on Facebook (FB) EPS Estimates, Says Buy Ahead Of Results

Deutsche Bank analyst Lloyd Walmsley raised his revenue estimates by 1.5% points on Buy rated Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) on easing comps, improving checks around the Stories ad unit performance and pricing, and the expectation that Instagram Checkout can expand beyond the initial beta partners and drive more ad spend this holiday period.
The analyst stated "We now look for 2019 EPS of $8.30 (vs $8.00 previously and the Street of $7.28) and 2020 EPS of $9.62 (vs $9.32 previously and the Street of $9.28). We continue to view Facebook as our top pick in mega cap Internet, with several levers for the shares to move higher over the near and medium term, in our view. We would add to positions here ahead of 2Q preview season".
