Oppenheimer analyst Jason Helfstein reiterated an Outperform rating and $225.00 price target on Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) ahead of 2Q:19 results as his checks are remaining strong.
The analyst stated "Agency checks suggest news headlines are having no impact on advertisers client spending, so long as conversion and ROI remain strong. Meanwhile, 3P data remains bullish, suggesting engagement remains healthy. Lastly, a deeper look into CCPA shows that it may have a weaker than expected effect—although other states are looking at even more punitive privacy laws however, we think FB is prepared and should experience less turbulence than previously expected".
