DA Davidson analyst, Rishi Jaluria, reiterated her Neutral rating on shares of Alteryx (NYSE: AYX) and raised the price target to $95.00 (from $86.00) after attending AYX's Investor Meeting at its annual user conference, Inspire. The investor presentation offered one key incremental takeaway: a new target model that includes 30%-35% FCF margins in the next 4-6 years and 35%-40% operating margins (up from 20% in the LT model provided at IPO). The analyst believes this new model implies a valuation of ~$130 today.
The analyst is below consensus at $0.41 for the quarter compared with consensus of $0.44 and did not walk through the math she used to reach the $130 PT but clearly a doubling of operating margins from the IPO projections is a very positive soft piece of data.
