Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Mike Kozak lowered the price target on Hecla Mining (NYSE: HL) to $1.75 (from $2.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
Analyst says: "Taking into consideration the results of the comprehensive review and conference call, we do not expect Hecla’s dire financial position to subside any time soon. The reduction in spending in Nevada is a “band-aid” solution that will not correct any of the operational or financial problems over the medium or longer terms."
