Merck (MRK) Tops Q1 EPS by 17c, Updates FY Guidance

Merck (NYSE: MRK) reported Q1 EPS of $1.22, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $1.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.48 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Merck sees FY2019 EPS of $4.67-$4.79, versus the consensus of $4.67. Merck sees FY2019 revenue of $43.9-45.1 billion, versus the consensus of $44.42 billion.
