Weyerhaeuser (WY) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c

Weyerhaeuser (NYSE: WY) reported Q1 EPS of $0.11, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.64 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.67 billion.

Weyerhaeuser anticipates higher second quarter earnings and Adjusted EBITDA compared with the first quarter. The company expects seasonally higher sales volumes and improved operating rates across all product lines.
