Briggs & Stratton (NYSE: BGG) reported Q3 EPS of $0.34, $0.35 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $580 million versus the consensus estimate of $579.19 million.
GUIDANCE:
Briggs & Stratton sees FY2019 EPS of $0.45-$0.55, versus the consensus of $1.04.
- The revision reflects continued weather-related market softness and the impact of temporary inefficiencies associated with the start-up of business optimization initiatives.
