3M Co. (MMM) Misses Q1 EPS by 26c; Lowers Outlook, Initiates Restructuring

3M Co. (NYSE: MMM) reported Q1 EPS of $2.23, $0.26 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.02 billion.

Announced company realignment from five to four business groups effective April 1.

GUIDANCE:

3M Co. sees FY2019 EPS of $9.25-$9.75, versus the consensus of $10.52.
