Rite Aid (RAD) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c, Offers FY Guidance

Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.01), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.38 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.56 billion.

Same store sales from Retail Pharmacy continuing operations for the fourth quarter increased 0.7 percent over the prior year, consisting of a 2.1 percent increase in pharmacy sales and a 1.9 percent decrease in front-end sales.

GUIDANCE:

Rite Aid sees FY2020 EPS of ($0.01)-$0.04, versus the consensus of $0.02. Rite Aid sees FY2020 revenue of $21.5-21.9 billion, versus the consensus of $22.09 billion.
