Urban Outfitters (URBN) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c

Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ: URBN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.80, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.13 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.14 billion.

Comparable Retail segment net sales increased 3%, driven by double-digit growth in the digital channel, partially offset by negative retail store sales. By brand, comparable Retail segment net sales increased 4% at Free People, 4% at Urban Outfitters and 2% at the Anthropologie Group. Wholesale segment net sales increased 3%.
