Genuine Parts (GPC) Tops Q4 EPS by 3c, FY Guidance Misses at Mid-Point

Genuine Parts (NYSE: GPC) reported Q4 EPS of $1.35, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $1.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.55 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Genuine Parts sees FY2019 EPS of $5.81-$5.96, versus the consensus of $5.95.

• The Company is establishing its full year 2019 sales guidance at up 3% to 4%, or up an adjusted 4% to 5% before an expected headwind from currency translation of 1%
