Cerner (CERN) Reports In-Line Q4 EPS; Plans to Initiate Dividend

Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN) reported Q4 EPS of $0.63, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.39 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Cerner sees Q1 2019 EPS of $0.62-$0.62, versus the consensus of $0.64. Cerner sees Q1 2019 revenue of $1.335-1.415 billion, versus the consensus of $1.39 billion.

Cerner sees FY2019 EPS of $2.57-$2.67, versus the consensus of $2.69. Cerner sees FY2019 revenue of $5.65-5.85 billion, versus the consensus of $5.8 billion.

Subject to declaration by the Board of Directors, the Company plans to initiate a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share, with the first payment expected in the third quarter of 2019. On an annualized basis, this would represent a yield of just over 1% based on the current stock price
