UPDATE: Barrick Gold (ABX) Raises Quarterly Dividend 133.3% to $0.07

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.07 per share. This is a 133.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.03.

The dividend will be payable on January 14, 2019, to stockholders of record on December 28, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of January 15, 2019.

This will result in an annual dividend of $0.16 per share paid to the shareholders of Barrick in respect of the 2018 financial year.

Following the completion of Barrick’s merger with Randgold Resources Ltd. (NASDAQ: GOLD), the Company expects to pay a quarterly dividend of $0.04 per share, commencing with the dividend to be declared in April 2019 in respect of the first quarter of 2019.
