TrustCo Bank (TRST) Declares $0.068125 Quarterly Dividend; 3.6% Yield

TrustCo Bank (NASDAQ: TRST) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.068125 per share, or $0.2725 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on January 2, 2019, to stockholders of record on December 7, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of December 6, 2018.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3.6 percent.

President and Chief Executive Officer Robert J. McCormick said: “We are very pleased that our company’s performance has enabled us to again provide a cash dividend to our owners at the enhanced rate first announced earlier this year. TrustCo’s board and management team remain confident in the strength of the Company’s balance sheet.” Mr. McCormick also observed that, “The payment will result in a cash dividend yield of 3.50%, based on the prior day’s closing price of $7.79. We understand how important the TrustCo cash dividend is to our shareholders and we proudly continue the more than 100-year tradition of meeting this expectation of our owners.”
