Assurant (AIZ) Raises Quarterly Dividend 7.1% to $0.60; 2.3% Yield

Assurant (NYSE: AIZ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share, or $2.4 annualized. This is a 7.1% increase from the prior dividend of $0.56.

The dividend will be payable on December 17, 2018, to stockholders of record on November 26, 2018, with an ex-dividend date of November 23, 2018.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.3 percent.

“Increasing our common stock dividend once again demonstrates our commitment to disciplined capital management,” said Alan Colberg, president and chief executive officer, Assurant. “With the acquisition of The Warranty Group, we have added a diversified and more predictable earnings stream that enhances our ability to generate cash flow, and as appropriate, return it to shareholders.”
