Sierra Wireless (SWIR) Reports Q3 EPS of $0.29, Revenues Beat; Offers Q4 EPS/Revenue Guidance Below Consensus

Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.29, versus $0.00 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $203.19 million versus the consensus estimate of $202.19 million.

“We had strong growth in revenue and adjusted EBITDA on a year-over-year basis in the Third Quarter,” said Kent Thexton, President and CEO. “We continued to strengthen our position as the leader in Device-to-Cloud IoT solutions and our two highest margin businesses - namely Enterprise Solutions and IoT Services - increased to 27% of total revenue in Q3.”

GUIDANCE:

Sierra Wireless sees Q4 2018 EPS of $0.22-$0.30, versus the consensus of $0.32. Sierra Wireless sees Q4 2018 revenue of $200-208 million, versus the consensus of $208.4 million.
